Virginia Hospital Center Names New Vice President of Support Services

Arlington, VA (January 25 , 2018) — Virginia Hospital Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Charles Fletcher to Vice President, Support Services. In this role, Fletcher will lead the construction and renovation of the Hospital's $250-million campus Master Facility Plan, as well as its new partnership with PT Solutions Physical Therapy.
Fletcher joined Virginia Hospital Center in 2012 as Director of Security & Support Services. Most recently, he served as Associate Vice President of Support Services. As Vice President of Support Services, his key operational responsibilities include Materials Management, Security & Parking, Facilities Engineering, Environmental Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Food Services, Communications, and Construction & Renovation.

Virginia Hospital Center's campus expansion project, scheduled to begin later this year, will bring much-needed enhancements to the hospital to meet growing needs and improve the patient experience. It includes property acquisition, a 260-thousand square foot outpatient pavilion, and a 2,000-space parking structure slated to open in 2020.
