Physical Therapy for Vestibular Rehabilitation

The physical therapists of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department at Virginia Hospital Center have additional training in addressing vestibular disorders that produce dizziness. During your first visit your vestibular system will be evaluated. Other areas that may contribute to your symptoms may also be assessed such as your neck or balance. The physical therapist will provide hands-on treatment and exercises as appropriate to address your impairments and improve function of the vestibular system to decrease dizziness, improve balance and help you return to your normal level of activities.
