Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) promotes healing in people recovering from neurological conditions such as a stroke through therapy and education. The speech pathologists of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department at Virginia Hospital Center assist patients as they build and re-learn skills that are important for communication, cognition, and swallowing.

Tiffani was only 31, newly engaged and immersed in planning her wedding.
