The inpatient physical therapists at Virginia Hospital Center work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions for functional mobility such as bed mobility, transfers, and ambulation. Additionally, they assist in determining any additional rehab or durable medical equipment needs in preparation for a safe discharge from the Hospital.

These skills may include bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and cognition.
