Dr. Rohn grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and studied computer engineering and German at Case Western Reserve University. After college, she lived and worked in northern Virginia for two years, and met her future husband. She soon realized that she preferred to interact with people instead of computers, and decided to direct her skills toward a career in medicine.

She traveled to Missouri where she graduated from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and then to Philadelphia for an OB-GYN residency at the University of Pennsylvania. During residency, she served as administrative Chief Resident and received the Robert A. Rascoe Award for Excellence in Ambulatory Care and the Golden Mitt Award for collaborative practice with midwives. Her research project on the use of checklists to improve the safety of labor induction won the Resident Research Award.

Dr. Rohn was delighted at the opportunity to return to the DC area and to work with the Arlington Women's Center group, as she has particular interests in minimally invasive surgery and in providing care in collaboration with midwives. She also focuses on patient safety, quality improvement, and the importance of multidisciplinary care.

Dr. Rohn is part of the Arlington Women's Center practice which offers the option for prenatal care and birth with their certified nurse midwife at Virginia Hospital Center.
