Dr. Murray specializes in complex cranial, microneurosurgery and endoscopic skull base surgery. In addition to general neurosurgery and spine surgery, he treats both benign and malignant brain tumors, skull base lesions, trigeminal neuralgia, and aneurysms. He has advanced expertise in minimally invasive cranial surgery and pituitary tumors.

Dr. Murray graduated from medical school at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 2001. Between 2001 and 2008, he gained extensive international experience in the fields of acute care and critical care, working in various positions within South Africa, the United Kingdom, and various other remote International locations. In 2008, Dr. Murray entered the Neurosurgery program at the University of Vermont. Following the completion of his residency, he pursued sub-specialized fellowship training in the fields of complex cranial surgery and microneurosurgery at Louisiana State University as well as in the field of Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Brain and Skull Base surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.
