Lifeline Emergency Response Program
Relish and prolong the independence of living at home. You can feel secure knowing that help is a 24 hour personal response and support service. The lightweight, waterproof help button works in tandem with a small device installed in your home. When you push the button, a Lifeline operator will alert a designated friend or family member that you need help, or will dispatch an emergency crew if necessary.

Personal Experience:
My mother, who is 84 years old and still independent, had some fainting spells in late January. It was fortunate that family members were with her at the time, but the thought of what could have happened if she had been alone was terribly distressing. Two days later, we had the Lifeline medical alert set up in my mother's home. It is obvious that everyone at Virginia Hospital Center Lifeline strives to create a comforting, empowering experience for their subscribers. My mother recently shared with me that she no longer feels alone. — Carole M.
