Many pelvic floor conditions are interrelated, so a patient's diagnosis and treatment may begin with one specialist and continue with another. The Center for Pelvic Floor Disorder's having all three specialty practices in a central location is both efficient from a clinical standpoint and convenient for the patient. Such convenience cannot be understated, as - left untreated - pelvic floor problems can eventually become socially debilitating, prompting some men and women to avoid public places and sometimes even leaving their homes.
