Mark your calendar: September 25, 2010 from 11 am - 5 pm for FAMILY FUN DAY 2010
Virginia Hospital Center Foundation will host its second annual Family Fun Day. We have merged the event with Clarendon Day and will now have a special "Virginia Hospital Center neigborhood" directly across from the Clarendon Metro.
Featured events include a 10K, 5K, and Kids Run in the morning and over 50 booths committed to family health, wellness, nutrition, safety, and of course fun. Two performance stages will feature dance, martial arts, yoga, and more.

Virginia Hospital Center Foundation was the beneficiary of the 2010 Taste of Arlington. This event supported patient care at the Hospital while offering tastes of fabulous food, beer and wine from more than 40 of Arlington's diverse restaurants.

Virginia Hospital Center Foundation's benefit, A Signature Evening, raises over $75,000 in support for patient care at Virginia Hospital Center.
Thank you for attending our first annual benefit on March 19. Guests enjoyed a light supper buffet, "sweeneytinis," the performance of Stephen Sondheim's Tony award winning musical thriller, Sweeney Todd, and a chance to meet the cast after the show.

Foundation Brings Community Together at Family Fun Day -

Run, dance, jump and twirl! Virginia Hospital Center Foundation's first annual Family Fun Day brought members of our community together to learn about health and wellness while enjoying activities and performances. Busy 16th Street North and the Hospital's Healing Garden were transformed into an outdoor festival, complete with 50 booths dedicated to health, safety, nutrition and fitness, performance and demonstration areas, live music, and delicious and healthy foods. Family Fun Day, the premier 2009 Fit Arlington event, was done in collaboration with Arlington County to showcase Arlington as a community committed to wellness and health. In coordination with the County, the Foundation promoted Family Fun Day through postcards distributed in "back pack mail" to all elementary and middle school students and a postcard insert in the Arlington Citizen, the County's free newspaper reaching all Arlington residents.
