Two Events Support Reinsch Pierce Family
Center for Breast Health

HERNDON WOMEN’S CLUB

On November 5, 2011, members of the Herndon Women’s Club gathered for food, fashion and fellowship at their annual fashion show benefit, with all proceeds going to the Reinsch Pierce Family Center for Breast Health.

“In selecting a beneficiary for the event, our members wanted to support an organization that serves the needs of women,” said EddieMae Walker, event chair. “We were so impressed by the comprehensive breast health services offered at the Reinsch Pierce Family Center for Breast Health, and we take great comfort in knowing that this care is available for our members when they need it.”

COOLEY’S 3rd ANNUAL RALLY FOR THE CURE

On Monday, October 10, 2011, Washington Redskin Chris Cooley and his mother, Nancy Cooley, hosted the third annual Cooley’s Rally for the Cure. This evening brought together members of the Washington Redskins and hundreds of supporters in the fight against breast cancer. Nancy Cooley, a breast cancer survivor, credits her physicians at the Reinsch Pierce Family Center for Breast Health with saving her life. “Over the past three years, hope has become my motto. My doctors are truly my angels… miracle workers I call them,” said Nancy. A special thanks to Cooley’s Rally for the Cure for directing $14,000 in event proceeds to the Reinsch Pierce Family Center for Breast Health which will be used to enhance and expand access to breast healthcare services for our community.
