| Bio: | Shalini M. Sitzmann, D.O. graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas and completed her medical education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. She moved to Washington D.C. for her internal medicine residency at Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Sitzmann is board certified in internal medicine and joined Medical Associates of Arlington in 2008.
Dr. Sitzmann has a holistic approach to medicine and places an emphasis on patient education, disease prevention, good nutrition and fitness. She is also trained in osteopathic manipulative medicine which uses techniques such as stretching, gentle pressure and resistance to allow the nervous system and musculoskeletal system to function in harmony. |
