| Bio: | Dr. Terlinsky has been in the Washington , DC area for 30 years. He is originally from New York and went to college at Case-Western Reserve in Cleveland Ohio where he received a BA in Chemistry. He went to Georgetown University School of Medicine and did both his residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Nephrology at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Terlinsky spent two years at the Washington Hospital Center where he was the assistant Chief of Nephrology.
Dr. Terlinsky came to Arlington , VA in 1982 and has been in private practice in Internal Medicine and Nephrology ever since. He has been on the active teaching staff of both Georgetown University School of Medicine and George Washington University School of Medicine for his entire medical career. Medical students and residents frequently spend time in his office as part of their medical training.
Dr. Terlinsky has become a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). He has become certified as a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension and has taken his certifying exam in Weight Medicine(Bariatrics) given by the American Board of Bariatric physicians. Dr. Terlinsky is an eternal student and had completed many hours of continuing education at local and national meetings. Dr. Terlinsky also has given numerous medical presentations to groups of physicians.
Dr. Terlinsky is a past president of the Arlington County Medical Society. He is married and has two children. |
