Bio:

An Arlington native, Dr. David Romness heralds from a medical family. With the influence of his father, his brother, and a brother-in-law all working as orthopaedic surgeons, Dr. Romness himself was drawn to the field because of the upbeat, optimistic nature of the specialty and its many creative opportunities in surgery. After graduating with a BS from the University of Richmond, Dr. Romness earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Active in a number of professional medical organizations, Dr. Romness has been a past president of both the Virginia and Washington Orthopaedic Societies. He also stays involved in academia having published multiple peer review articles and being named a recipient of the Kenmore Award for Resident Education at Georgetown University where he serves as a clinical Assistant Professor for residents and medical students.
