Dr. Steven Neufeld is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the foot and ankle. He treats all disorders of the foot and ankle including bunions, hammertoes, trauma, sports injuries, arthritis, nerve entrapment and diabetic complications. Dr. Neufeld is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. After receiving an Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh, he attended medical school at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a 5-year orthopaedic surgery residency at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and went on to complete a fellowship in foot & ankle surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Neufeld has an academic appointment at Georgetown University and is active in teaching and lecturing to both Georgetown University residents and George Washington University residents. He has published numerous papers on various foot & ankle disorders, received awards for research and lectures at many conferences world-wide.
