| Bio: | Dr. Buchino was named Chief of Pathology at Virginia Hospital Center in 1995. He received his medical degree from the University of Louisville, Kentucky in 1979 and did his pathology residency at the University of Louisville affiliated hospitals. He served as chief resident from 1982 to 1983.
Prior to coming to Virginia, Dr. Buchino served as Chief of Pathology for hospitals in both Louisville and Bardstown Kentucky. Dr. Buchino is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. In addition, Dr. Buchino received a dental degree and a master’s degree in pharmacology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1973. He has specialty training in forensics medicine, forensics odontology, and fine needle aspiration. He is the author of numerous publications and continues to serve on multiple medical staff committees.
