Dr. Stein received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University and his medical degree from the State University of New York. He did postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Pulmonary Desease training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Stein is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Desease, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Association of Sleep Medicine. In addition, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University. Dr. Stein has expertise in Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and is Medical Director of the Sleep Laboratory and former Director of the Acute Pulmonary Rehabilitation Unit at Virginia Hospital Center.
