“Over the last three years, Kaiser Permanente has been impressed with the inpatient and outpatient services provided by Virginia Hospital Center, and are particularly pleased our Obstetricians and Anesthesiologists will be able to work together to deliver Obstetrical care for Kaiser Permanente members there,” said Douglas Cappiello, MD, Physician in Chief of Kaiser Permanente Northern Virginia.  “We felt this was a natural and positive progression in our existing relationship, which adds value for Kaiser Permanente members."

“We are very excited to extend our Obstetrics services to Kaiser Permanente members,” said Jim Cole, President & CEO at Virginia Hospital Center.  “We share a common goal to provide the safest and very best care to all patients and look forward to welcoming Kaiser Permanente members to our mother and baby unit.&rdquo
