June Allyson Foundation Grant Recipient
Virginia Hospital Center Urogynecologist, Maria Canter, MD received a
research grant from the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) to study urinary
disorders and her findings will be published this year in the American
Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
In 2005, Dr. Canter received the June Allyson Foundation Award of the American
Urogynecologic Society for her research in urinary disorders. To help determine the causes and management of pelvic floor disorders AUGS grants awards to candidates who exhibit significant evidence of talent and dedication to research.
