RESTRICTED VISITATION POLICY

Virginia Hospital Center has instituted a restricted visitation policy effective immediately. This change is a result of increased influenza activity in our area and to create the safest environment for our patients, staff and visitors. The restrictions include:

  • No visitors (including siblings) under the age of 18.
  • Only children seeking treatment, or who have scheduled procedures, should visit the Hospital.
  • No visitors with any symptoms of influenza-like illness.
  • Patients’ visitors will be limited to two persons.
  • Visitors may be required to wear masks or other protective clothing for use when visiting a patient.
