In February 2012, Virginia Hospital Center was awarded a three-year accreditation in radiation oncology by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).
has been re-accredited as a Center of Excellence by the American College of Surgeons’ National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). The three-year re-accreditation is a reflection of the Hospital providing the most outstanding breast care available.
The Commission on Cancer (CoC) has confirmed that Virginia Hospital Center CoC-accredited cancer program is now a CoC Outstanding Achievement Award recipient as a result of the our successful survey performed in 2011.
The American College of Surgeons' Bariatric Surgery Center Network Accreditation Program has granted Virginia Hospital Center full approval and official recognition as an American College of Surgeons Level 1 Accredited Bariatric Center. This recognition and accreditation is a reflection of achievement in meeting the highest standards in providing our patients quality bariatric care.
